- GM Ramos Waster Water Treatment Facility
UPI was responsible for replacing the existing aging system, increasing the capacity for treating the industrial waste stream for the plant expansion and increasing recycling of the wastewater back to plant operations, thus reducing the amount of water usage at the GM Ramos facility.
The upgraded WWT plant is capable of treating approximately 2,000 cubic meters (528,000 gals) of wastewater a day and recycle approximate 50% of that volume.
The new system by UPI included:
New reuse RO system
New microbiological reactor system
New ultra-filtration system for oily waste water
Expansion of existing clarifier system
